Tell us your story.
I started out in beading a few years ago and wanted to expand my skills. So I took a few classes in wire sculpting and fell in love with sculpting wire because it brought out the creativity in me.

Where do you sell your jewelry? Do you have any tips on selling there?
I sell my jewelry to family and friends.

What's your biggest selling piece and why?
Turquoise Pendants are my biggest seller.

What one piece of advice can you give to other aspiring jewelry makers?
Keep practicing and never give up.

Have you quit your day job yet? Can you give us any idea how much income your jewelry is making?
No I haven't quit my day job. I've only made a little bit of money so far but I've schedule my first craft show for October and another for November.

What would you say to someone that might be hesitant to invest in Preston's course?
I'd tell them that the courses are very informative and I've learned a lot from them. I liked that I was able to work at my own pace and was able refer back to them when needed.

Has jewelry making changed your life in any way?
Jewelry has brought my family closer. We all play a parting in jewelry making process: We all rock hound together looking for stone and minerals. My husband takes the rough stones and grinds then into cabochons and my kids are my inspiration.

What's your plan for the future?
My plan for the future is to quit my day job and to get my jewelry business up and running full time.
