Tell us your story.
I started making jewelry about 10 months ago. I love working with semi precious stones and metals. I was an art major in high school and have dabbled in oil painting, stained glass creations and sculpture through the years. I love to be creative and making my jewelry pieces awards me that along with the peace I feel while creating something beautiful.

Where do you sell your jewelry? Do you have any tips on selling there?
I sell my jewelry at work and I've had shows at my home and friends homes. I am planning on selling at craft shows this upcoming summer.

What's your biggest selling piece and why?
The memory wire bracelets I make are unique, beautiful and one of a kind. My earrings are a great seller also.

What one piece of advice can you give to other aspiring jewelry makers?
Be creative and follow your instincts. Live your dream.

Have you quit your day job yet? Can you give us any idea how much income your jewelry is making?
No,I still work outside the home. I am a Registered Nurse and will not give up my profession. When I retire, I hope to have my jewelry business in a place where I can make a lucrative income. I'm not making much yet. I'm sure I under charge for my pieces and as soon as I get the money, I'm right out there buying more supplies trying to build up my inventory.

What would you say to someone that might be hesitant to invest in Preston's course?
It is worth every penny. A great learning tool.

Has jewelry making changed your life in any way?
Yes it has. I love being creative and it's a great stress reliever.

Do you sell any of your work on line or on Ebay? Do you do well there?
Not yet but that is something I am looking into doing in the near future.

What's your plan for the future?
When I retire, I would like to have my own little shop by the water and sell my creations there.
