Unless I am totally snowed in, I never miss my Yoga classes. They give me time to meditate and communicate with my body. Another way to connect with your body is through its Chakra, which uses the same colors as the spectrum or a rainbow.
The colors used in my symbolic earring design are:
Red | The first chakra relates to your will to live and your physical vitality. |
Orange | The second chakra governs reproduction, emotions and creativity. |
Yellow | The third chakra controls the fire of the digestion and the way you digest or process your emotions. |
Green | The fourth chakra is associated with the thymus gland, heart and circulation. |
Blue | The fifth chakra concerned with the power and impact of speech. |
Indigo or Purple | The sixth chakra, known as the third eye, relates to your capacity to visualize and understand mental concepts. |
Violet or White | The seventh chakra relates to the integration of personality with spirituality. |
Straighten, measure and then cut the two 4½" wires. Working with both wires as though they were one wire, place their center on size 13 on a ring mandrel or ring stick, and bend both ends evenly around the mandrel, forming a U shape.
Still working with both wires as though they were one, place the ends into the smallest step of 3-step looping pliers, and roll them toward the outside of the U, forming a complete small circle loop.
Lay both wires next to one another, with their small circle loops facing each other. Slide the 4mm beads, separating each with a 4mm daisy spacer, on each of the wires in this order: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, then violet or white.
Place each straight wire end into the smallest step on the looping pliers and make another small circle loop, heading toward the outside of the U.
Bend the small circle loops toward each other. Hook one small circle loop into the other, closing the earring. Add your favorite ear wires.
