Use heavy-gauge wire to prepare a hair stick for customizing.
Instructions
Cut 6" of 8 gauge round copper wire and hammer it slightly flat with a heavy hammer. If you don't hammer it flat, the twisting won't be evident in the next step.
When the wire work hardens, heat it with the torch until it glows, to anneal it - make it softer.
Using a vice and heavy duty pliers, twist the wire.
Use metal files to smooth one end to a soft point. And further smooth the end with a rubber wheel. Decorate the top in any fashion.
