Filing Angled Wires in a Jig

by Judy Larson
Here's a quick tip on using a jig for filing angled wires
Instructions
When wires are angled inside the jaws of a miter jig and vise to form an angled joint, filing against the wire's angle can cause the file to grab and bend the wire backward.

It's better to file in the same direction the wire is pointing.

The wires shown have been pulled out of the jig to better illustrate this technique.
