The best thing about using ball chain as an embellishment is how forgiving it is.
Even if you cut it a bead too long, it can be gently compressed, since the beads slide on the small wires that connect them.
This flexibility makes it easy to fit the chain around a bezel.

When making Bali style bracelets, I ran out of daisy spacers. It was easy to make daisy spacers with ball chain soldered around jump rings.
