A Better T-bar

Toggles are the easiest closure to use, especially one handed, as with bracelets. However, they are the least secure closure.

The T-Bar of this toggle is made with twisted wire and there are three levels to the O-Ring. After shaping to T-Bar to fit over an O-Ring, I feel this toggle shape is the most secure I have ever made.
Instructions
Every bit of resistance helps prevent the T-bar from slipping out of the O-ring.

The T-bars shown here are made from twisted wire with balls soldered to the ends.

The twisted wire's bumps and ridges provide more grip than smooth wire, making the T-bar more secure.

The soldered balls at the ends add even more resistance to slipping.

Not all toggle designs work well with the rope look of twisted wire.

Using smooth round or square wire for the T-bar isn't ideal but is acceptable.

What really makes the T-bar more secure is shaping the sides to fit over the O-ring.

Cut the T-bar slightly longer than needed, knowing the final length will be shorter after shaping.

After constructing the T-bar, use soft-jaw round-nose pliers to shape it like a bird in flight.

First, bend the sides up on either side of the center (see first photo), then curve the "wings" down (see second photo).

Check that the curves fit the O-ring and make any necessary adjustments.
