Now to create the "nest" for the pearl.
Coil the 14-gauge wire into a spiral. In the center of the spiral leave enough space for the pearl.
Set the pearl into the "nest" and see how it looks. The bead should sit snugly but not overly tight.
Be sure that one of the14-gauge wires covers the hole in the bead. See picture for example.
Spiral the lower piece of wire clockwise. You can use round nose pliers.
Spiral the upper piece of wire on other side.
Cut off the excess 14-gauge wire.
Now we straighten out the "nest" and remove the pearl.
