Woven Shell Coin Pendant

Next take the second base wire and lay it above the first. Wrap the weaving wire around both wires twice.

It is important not to wrap the wire too tight, make sure there is a small gap the size of the weaving wire between the two base wires.

Lay the last base wire above the base wire added in step 2. Wrap the weaving wire once around all three base wires.
Being careful to have a weaving wire size gap between all of the base wires.

Next wrap the weaving wire around the first two base wires twice. Then wrap the weaving wire around the first base wire three times.
Repeat this pattern for 17 times (picture has 13 repeats of this pattern) After this cut off the small tail from the beginning of the weave and smooth with pliers.
Position base wires so there is the same amount of base wires on each side of the weave by using pliers to gently pull the base wires.

Next bend the first base wire 90 degrees away from the other base wires and put it thru the Shell Coin. Bend the weave around the outside of the shell coin, if weave is too short add a repeat of the weaving pattern.
If too long take out a repeat. Cut the weaving wire and use pliers to smooth the end of the wire.

Next bend the first base wire at the top (the one closes to the shell coin) up next to the wire coming up thru the shell coin forming a V.

Take the weaving wire and wrap around the base wire coming up through the shell coin three times.

Take the weaving wire to the opposite side of the other base wire of the V. And wrap around the base wire one full time.
With this weave we cross the weaving wire between the two base wires, the front of one wire to the back of the other wire, or vice versa.

Continue doing the cross over weave for the bail, do not let the bail get wider then about 3/8's of an inch, if the bail reaches that wide bend the bail wires parallel or slightly back toward each other. Weave the bail till it is about 1 inch long.
Stop your weaving on the bail on the side of the V away from the weave around the shell.

Bend woven bail around bail making pliers to form the bail.
Thread the wire on the side with the weave around the shell between the shell and the weave to the front side of the pendant.
On the other bail wire coil the weaving wire around it 10 times, bring the bail wire to the front side of the pendant, coil the base wire till the coil is on the front side of the pendant.
On the front side of the pendant bring the two bail wires together as close to the bail as possible.

Wrap the weaving wire around both bail wires twice, leaving a small gap between the two bail wires big enough for the weaving wire to fit in, Wrap the weaving wire around the first base wire 3 times
Repeat 5 times and end weaving wire, smooth end of wire with pliers.
Bend the bail weave a little to one side cut the wires about ½ to ¾ inches long and curl.
Bend the other two wires by the bail from the weave around the back of the bail. Cut the wires and crimp with flat nose pliers on the back side of the bail.

On the last two base wires on the bottom of the pendant start the weaving wire by wrapping around one of the base wires three times then around both base wires twice then around the first base wire three times.
Repeat about 15 times, after last repeat coil the weaving wire around the base wire 8 to 15 more times.
Cut the weaving wire off close to the base wire and use pliers to smooth the end of the weaving wire around the base wire.

Bend finished weave around to the left and up over the shell, leaving a small circle made from the weave at the bottom.
Bend the rest of the weave in front of the shell attractively.
Cut base wires off about ¾ inch long and curl away from each other.
