Instructions
Step 1
Materials and tools for this project are shown on this picture. The wire is 18ga (1 mm) wire, the beads are 10x8 mm big, each.

Step 2
First we will make one earring.
Cut a 3 inches (7.5 cm) long wire of the 18ga (1 mm) wire. Measure 1.5 cm length on the right end of this wire, at this point hold it tight within the center of the round nose pliers or within the ends of the bail making pliers (in a way that the thicker end of the pliers is on the back).

Step 3
Bend both ends of the wire around the round nose plier or around the thicker end of the bail making plier, as shown here. The wire ends must cross over each other in a way that the shorter end has a 0.5 cm length outside of the loop.

Step 4
Separate the wire from the pliers. At the point where the wire ends cross over each other, hold the longer wire end tight within the ends of the chain nose pliers, then bend it completely upwards, as shown here.

Step 5
Hold the loop tight between your fingers. With the help of the chain nose pliers, bend the short wire end tightly around the longer one, as shown here.

Step 6
Now press the end of the wire with the pliers, until it is completely closed.

Step 7
Switch to the other side of the wire structure so the short wire end remains on the back, invisible. This is the loop of the ear wire
which we will complete later.

Step 8
Now cut 2 wires of the 18ga (1mm) wire, with the length of 4 inches (10 cm), each.

Step 9
Take one of these wires. Add 3 beads to this wire, positioning them over the center of the wire. It is very important that the beads are on the center and the remaining wire ends have the same length on both sides.

Step 10
Close to the right bead, hold the remaining wire end tight within the ends of the chain nose pliers and bend it upwards, then move it slightly inwards.

Step 11
Repeat the same step on the left side as well, then move the wire ends inwards until they cross over each other at a 0.5 cm distance from the ends of them.

Step 12
At the crossing point of the wires, hold them one by one within the chain nose pliers, then bend the wire ends upwards. The vertical wire ends must be 0.5 cm long. We have to leave a little free space between the bent wire ends.

Step 13
Take the second wire with the length of 4 inches (10 cm).

Step 14
Press the bent part of this wire tight with the chain nose pliers until it is completely closed.

Step 15
Measure 0.5 cm length on the bent end of the wire. At this point hold it tight within the chain nose pliers, as shown here. then bend the wire ends slightly outwards.

Step 16
This is the result we must get. Here we have the 2 wires of the hanging part of the earring.

Step 17
Position the bent center of the second wire in between the wire ends of the first wire, positioning the ends of the second wire between the beads, as shown on
the left side of the picture.

Step 18
Make sure that the wire ends are aligned at the top, then hold the ends of all the wires tight within the center of the round nose pliers, or within the ends of the bail making pliers (in a way that the thicker end is on the front).

Step 19
On the lower side, hold the beads and the wire ends of the second wire tight between your fingers, then bend the top wire ends backwards, making an open loop © with them.

Step 20
Insert these open loops into the loop of the ear wire, as shown here.
Erika Pal's Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings - , Contemporary Wire Jewelry, Loops, Wire Loop, Wrapped Wire Loop, Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings
Step 21
With the help of the chain nose pliers we have to close these small loops, one by one.
Erika Pal's Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings - , Contemporary Wire Jewelry, Loops, Wire Loop, Wrapped Wire Loop, Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings
Step 22
This is the result we must get from the back view. The small loops of the hanging part must be completely closed around the lower side of the loop of the ear
wire.

Step 23
Switch to the front view. Make sure that the wire ends of the second wire are straight and positioned tightly in between the wires, then push them tightly
backwards, as shown with the arrows.
Erika Pal's Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings - , Contemporary Wire Jewelry, Loops, Wire Loop, Wrapped Wire Loop, Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings
Step 24
Switch to the back view, then push the wire ends slightly upwards in between the beads.
Erika Pal's Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings - , Contemporary Wire Jewelry, Loops, Wire Loop, Wrapped Wire Loop, Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings
Step 25
Leave a 0.5 cm end on these wires, cut off the extra ends of them.
Erika Pal's Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings - , Contemporary Wire Jewelry, Loops, Wire Loop, Wrapped Wire Loop, Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings
Step 26
With the help of the chain nose pliers, push these wire ends closer to the beads until they are completely closed, as shown here and in the next picture.
Erika Pal's Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings - , Contemporary Wire Jewelry, Loops, Wire Loop, Wrapped Wire Loop, Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings
Step 27
We have to make sure that both wire ends are completely closed, so they don't get caught in hair.
Erika Pal's Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings - , Contemporary Wire Jewelry, Loops, Wire Loop, Wrapped Wire Loop, Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings
Step 28
At the top of the wire structure, above the loop of the ear wire, hold the wire end tight within the bottom of the round nose - pliers, or within the center of the
bail making pliers, in a way that the thicker end of the pliers is on the back.
Erika Pal's Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings - , Contemporary Wire Jewelry, Loops, Wire Loop, Wrapped Wire Loop, Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings
Step 29
Bend the wire end backwards, then downwards, as shown here.
Erika Pal's Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings - , Contemporary Wire Jewelry, Loops, Wire Loop, Wrapped Wire Loop, Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings
Step 30
Leave the wire end as long as you like it. If necessary, cut off the extra wire end. I recommend you to use a nail file to make the end of the ear wire
smooth.
Erika Pal's Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings - , Contemporary Wire Jewelry, Loops, Wire Loop, Wrapped Wire Loop, Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings
Step 31
Measure 0.5 cm on the end of the ear wire. At this point hold it tight within the chain nose pliers, then bend the wire end slightly downwards.
Erika Pal's Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings - , Contemporary Wire Jewelry, Loops, Wire Loop, Wrapped Wire Loop, Wire Beaded Clacker Earrings
Step 32
We have to repeat all these steps one more time, to create the second earring, following the same instructions. Your beautiful earrings are ready.
