Sterling Silver Rainbow Bracelet

This bracelet is made with beaded links. Each link is about 20mm long and within each link the flat wire where the beads sit is about 14mm long. If the beads on a link don't measure 14mm just make sure the wire the beads sit on between the 2 loops does measure about 14mm so the links will all be around the same size. Flush cut the end of the wire and grab the end in the round nose pliers and make a loop that looks like a P at the end of the wire. Using chain nose pliers hold onto the wire at the base of the loop on the flat side of the P and bend the loop down towards the straight wire so the loop sits in the middle of the long wire a bit like a balloon on a string.

Add the beads and flush cut the wire allowing about 10-11mm to make your loop, this measurement will depend on the size of your loops. Grab the end of the wire in the round nose pliers and make the P loop. Using chain nose pliers center the loop on the wire.

Each strand has 8 links joined by fine soldered jump rings. I used purchased soldered jump rings because I wanted the joining rings to be fine and not chunky but you can substitute unsoldered jump rings. They would need to be made with thicker wire like 20g 1/8" or 20g 5/32". To join the links open one of the loops on the first link place the soldered ring in the loop and close the loop. Open a loop on the 2nd link place the same jump ring in the loop and close the loop. Keep adding links until you have 3 strands of 8 links.

Open one of the 1/8" rings and go through the end loops of the 3 strands at the other end of the bracelet and close the ring. With another open 1/8" jump ring go through the jump ring that you just closed then add the bar piece of the clasp and close the ring.
