Instructions
Step 1
Cut the 8 inches 18-gauge wire into half i.e., 4 inches long each

Step 2
Grasp one end of the wire end with the round nose pliers to create a loop. This loop is smaller, about 3 to 4 mm in diameter. Later on, this loop will be hooked to the earring hook.

Step 3
Repeat the same on the other wire end. This loop should be bigger to be able to fit the 6 mm bead as shown.

Step 4
Grasp the bigger loop with the nylon jaw pliers. Hold the wire flat with one hand and turn the pliers to wrap the wire twice around the small loop, which is now the center of the loop.

Alternatively, you can use flat nose pliers but make sure to do it gently so as not to scratch the wire.
This is how the finished loop looks.

Step 5
Cut a piece of 29 ga wire about 9 inches long. Insert the bead to the center of the wire at about 4.5-inch position. Then, place it inside the loop as shown.

Step 6
Hold one side of the wire and bead firmly. With the other hand, wrap the wire around the spiral base wire.

Step 7
Pull to tighten the wrap then repeat 4 more wraps towards the earring loop.

Step 8
Once done, repeat the same on the other end. This time around, wrap on the opposite direction i.e., downwards.
Do not cut of the excess wire yet.

Step 9
Wrap the remaining wire end around the outer spiral base wire 10 times or more, depending on your preference.

Step 10
Repeat the same on the other end.
Snip off remaining wire with the wire cutters.

Step 11
Use a flat nose pliers open the loop to insert the earring hook. Repeat to close the loop.

Repeat Step 2 to Step 11 to create the second earring.
