Cut nine pieces of 20-gauge wire into 12-inch lengths. Separate into groups of three.
Straighten each piece of wire with the nylon jaw pliers, as needed.
Cut a piece of tape 1 1/2 inches. Lay three pieces of wire together about 1/4 inch from the end of the tape.
Fold the end of the tape over the first group of three wires.
Arrange a second group of three wires close to the first set on the tape. Fold the tape over all of the wires.
Arrange the last set of three wires close to the taped wires.
Fold the remainder of the tape over the last three wires and secure.
Use the flat nose pliers to lay all the wire flat inside the tape.
Secure the taped wire into the clamp.
Separate out each section of three pieces of wire, and begin to braid the wire keeping each section of three flat when weaving.
When you have your cuff at your desired length, cut off any extra long wire. Taper the wires close to the center of the braid.
Taper both ends of the wire in the cuff close to the middle of the braid. Shape the cuff around a bracelet mandrel.
Use the 3/16 size dowel to make the end caps for the cuff. Start to make each end cap coil off the spool of wire.
When you have your desired length, leave about 1 inch extended from the coil.
Use the end tip of the round nose pliers to make a tight spiral in the extended end of the wire.
Then use the flat nose pliers to bend the coiled end into the top of the cap.
Repeat with the second end cap.
Fit each cap over the ends of the wire. Trim wire as needed.
Apply a small amount of glue to the cap to secure it to the cuff.
Adjust as needed.
