Inspired by the beautiful Hawaiian Islands, this necklace was created around the fun fiber focal bead. Hanging this bead from a simple chain wasn't interesting enough so I cut the chain into pieces and added some crystal connectors. That really helped pull the whole piece together and enhanced a basic chain. The chain length can be adjusted shorter if desired. I also used 2 fancy shaped crystals but any gemstone, pearl or glass bead would work well too.

Instructions
Step 1
Straighten the wire using the nylon jaws pliers and cut four pieces of 4" wire, two pieces of 6" wire and make a simple loop at one end of each wire length. See instructions here: https://www.wirejewelry.com/jewelry_making_tips_techniques/Perfect-Sized-Loops-Every-Time_318.html
Step 2
Slip the following onto the shorter wire pieces (or eye pins) and make a simple loop on the other end of each wire creating a short crystal link: small crystal, large crystal, small crystal. Make 4 of these. Slip the following onto the longer wire pieces (or eye pins) and make a simple loop on the other end of each wire creating a long crystal link: small crystal, spacer, fancy crystal, spacer, small crystal.
Step 3
Slip a small crystal, large crystal and small crystal onto a head pin and make a simple loop on the other end of the wire creating a crystal dangle.
Step 4
Cut six 1.5" pieces of chain and two 7" pieces of chain. Attach the shorter chain lengths to the shorter crystal links.
Step 5
Connect the crystal links to the chain lengths as seen in the image.
Step 6
Connect the focal bead to both chain lengths using purchased jump rings, or make your own jump rings.

Step 7
Attach the other chain ends to the lobster clasp using a jump ring.
Step 8
*Optional
Attach the crystal dangle and assorted tiny chain lengths to the focal bottom using a jump ring.
