Instructions
Step 1
Use a doll needle (a 3 inch long sharp needle) to route out a hole in the wool beads for the wire to pass through.
Nancy Chase's French Blues Necklace - , Contemporary Wire Jewelry, Loops, Wire Loop, Wrapped Wire Loop, make a hole in the bead
Step 2
Making the links. Use the wire cutters to cut one 2-inch piece of wire for each bead link.

Use chain-nose pliers to bend the wire to a 90-degree angle about 3/4 inch away from the end of the wire.
Make a loop with the round nose pliers at the top of the bend in the wire, forming a circle.

Hold the loop with a pair of chain-nose pliers. Use another pair of chain-nose pliers to wrap the end of the wire tightly around the wire stem. Make two loops around the stem, then cut off any remaining wire.
Prevent a sharp edge from sticking out from the link by pressing the end firmly with chain nose pliers to flatten it into the bead link.

Thread one bead onto the wire. Make a second wire wrapped loop on the other end. Start to bend the wire to a 90-degree angle at the top of the bead.

Repeat this same process for the end of the bead and wire. Make a loop, wrap it twice then cut off any remaining wire.

Step 3
As the beads are finished with the double wrapped loops, arrange them with the pendant in the center and the clasp at the top. You may wish to re-arrange beads as needed for symmetry and balance.

Count out as many open jump rings that will be needed to link the wire bead loops together. Open all the rings, and arrange them in-between each bead link.

Step 4
Starting at one end of the necklace, use one pair of chain nose pliers to hold the jump ring and one side of the clasp. Place the closed loop of the first bead link loop into the open jump ring along with the clasp. Using both pair of pliers, close the jump ring around both pieces.

Continue to add each end of the bead link loops to the jump rings, closing each jump ring as you go along the strand.

Step 5
When you have finished the chain, the remaining jump ring will connect the final chain link loop to the other side of the clasp. Holding one pair of pliers, place the last bead link and the clasp end into the jump ring. Close the ring.

Feel the chain link for any outstanding wires to trim and flatten as needed.
