Instructions
Step 1:
Forming the earring post
Cut a 6.5 cm piece of 22-gauge wire. Using flat-nose or round-nose pliers, bend the wire at a 90-degree angle approximately 1.5cm from one end to form the earring post.

Step 2:
Stringing the bead
Insert the bead onto the earring post as shown.

Step 3:
Wrapping the bead
Using your fingers, wrap the wire around the bead, guiding it beneath the post.

Keep bending the wire around until it returns to the front of the bead.

Wrap the wire around the bead once more.

When the wire returns to the front of the bead, approximately 1.5cm of wire should remain.

Step 4:
Trimming the wire
Trim 0.5cm of the excess wire, leaving approximately 1cm remaining.

Step 5:
Forming the swirl
Grasp the end of the remaining wire with round-nose pliers to create a small loop.

Keep bending the loop towards the bead to create a small swirl and place it in front of the bead as shown.

Smooth the end of the post using the cup bur.
