Take your bail making pliers and make a big loop with the tail of the flower headpin and wire wrap the bottom of the loop at the flower base.
Bend the flower up until it is parallel to the loop. Use the cross peen hammer to texture the loop of the flower. This will also work harden the wire.
Pro Tip: The tube cutting pliers makes an easy holder for the overlapped wire to cut with your jeweler's saw. If you don't have these pliers, you can use parallel pliers, chain nose pliers or a wooden ring vise.
Pro Tip: If you forgot to turn your pickle pot on, no worries. Cold pickle will work as well, it will just take a bit longer to get the metal clean. Or go old school and use sandpaper to clean up.
