I designed this bangle using the staircase color pallet and featured the contrasting textures - wood and water. The bangle uses wire and fiber, two of my fave contrasting textures to combine. Then you add a dash of crystals for the sparkle and it's a stunner! You could also use more fiber layers if you wanted a thicker, cushier look.

Instructions
Step 1
Cut a length of 16g wire ½" longer than your wrist measurement and make small loops at both ends using the smallest jaw on the barrel pliers.

Step 2
Shape the wire into a "C" shape using the bracelet bending pliers.

Step 3
Cut three 1-yard strands of fiber. They don't have to be the same fiber. Tie one fiber end to the bangle end and wrap the long fiber around the bracelet covering the tail.

Step 4
Keep wrapping the fiber around the bracelet.

Step 5
Continue to wrap and when you reach the end of your fiber, tie the 2nd fiber strand onto the 1st fiber strand with a square knot.

Trim the excess fiber ends of the knot and keep wrapping. Repeat with the 3rd fiber strand.

Step 6
End the 3rd strand near one bracelet end and loop over the end with a knot and trim the tail end.

Step 7
Cut three 1-yard lengths of 26-gauge wire. Using one wire, leave a 1" tail and wrap around the bracelet end 4 times with the long end of the wire. Trim the tail off.

Step 8
Wrap the wire firmly but loosely around the bracelet until you get to the other end. Wrap 4 times around the other bracelet end and wrap back in the other direction.

Continue doing this until you run out of wire. Trim the tail off with your cutter and squish down any wire ends with your flat pliers. Repeat with the 2nd wire.

Step 9
Wrap the 3rd wire 4 times around one end, leaving a 1" tail. Trim the tail off. Load the crystals onto the wire and make a loose loop at the end so the crystals don't fall off. Be sure to add more crystals than you think you need.

Step 10
Start wrapping the bracelet and a half inch from the end, place a crystal at the top so it sits on the outside of the bracelet. Continue around the bracelet.

Step 11
When you reach the other end, wrap the wire, without any beads, around the bracelet end 4 times. Remove any excess beads and wrap back in the other direction.

Continue doing this until you run out of wire. Wrap around the end 4 times.

Trim the tail off with your cutter and squish any wire ends down. Readjust any crystals that moved out of place and wear!
