Beaded Bangle Bracelet

Cut the 18-gauge wire to about 8" in length. Use the wire-straightening tool to straighten the wire.

Use round-nose pliers to form a simple loop on one end.

Cut the 26-gauge wire to about 26-28" in length. Wrap the wire tightly around the 20-gauge wire four times near the simple loop. Use chain-nose or flat-nose pliers to crimp the end of the wire snugly against the 20-gauge wire.

Use the 26-gauge wire to string one bead.

Wrap the 26-gauge wire tightly around the 20-gauge wire twice.

Continue to string one bead at a time, wrapping the 26-gauge wire following each bead strung, using 8-10 beads in the first color.

Measure your wrist so you know how many inches of beads you need to add. Once you have the first color added, roughly measure how much space the beads occupy so you can estimate the number of beads you will need to use of each color in order to reach the desired length of beads. Continue adding beads until desired length is reached.

Once the final bead has been added, wrap the end of the 26-gauge wire four times. Trim the wire, then crimp the end of the wire snugly against the 20-gauge wire as before.

Use a bracelet mandrel or can to shape the wire so it will fit your wrist (I used a wine glass that was about the size of my wrist).

Trim wire tail if necessary, then form a hook on the end that will fasten into the loop to close the bracelet.
