Color Inspiration - Wire and Ice

Looking to emulate the droplets of water dripping from the icicles, I chose a graduated strand of smooth clear glass briolette beads. Wrapping the delicate briolette beads with silver wire, I fashioned a loop to attach to the chain. I then arranged them small to larger, with the largest briolettes centered in the middle of the design. These beads are called side drilled, or top drilled, because the holes are drilled at the top/sides of this pear shaped bead. Using small jump rings, the wire loops were attached to the chain. The lobster clasp seemed appropriate as lobsters roam in cold waters.
