Color Inspiration - Tulip Hearts

When I look closely at this tulip field, I view the contrast between pink/red corals, and whites of each of the petals. Within this contrast, I also see heart shapes where each petal meets the next.
It's as if a brush stroke of color dipped in blush, fuschia, and lipstick red all kissed the edges of each petal, leaving an ivory pale pattern to form the illusion of a heart shape.

Mother-of-pearl shaped heart beads dangle as the focus of these earrings. Coral rice shaped beads are wire wrapped with 24 gauge headpins. Wire wrapped loops, made at each end of the rice beads, connect to each other with 3mm jump rings. The translucent heart shaped beads are finished with cube shaped coral accent beads at each base. The dangle is then attached with gold wire jump rings to each of the ear wires.
Much like the tulips, which grow and blossom in the cooler weather, swingy heart drop earrings will add a bright boost of color on these cold, winter days.
