Color Inspiration - The Plaza

When I saw how the decorated the Plaza Hotel lobby was in New York City this year, I knew it would make a great color inspiration pallet! The Plaza Hotel is one of Manhattan's treasured jewels and I was so fortunate to have high tea there a few years back. I cannot recommend it more highly if your travels take you anywhere near there!
I loved the vintage aesthetic of the hotel and it looks that way all year no matter how they decorate.

I used antique copper wire for wrapping the crystal beads since it adds a vintage look as opposed to gold or silver wire. If you wanted more muted tones you could use olive and burgundy colored wire.
This project is also a fun way to use some scrap wire. You could make one twisted wire red and the other green. Mix it up and customize it. It's a great project to do your prep work in front of a good holiday movie! You know all your pals will want these for their holiday soirées!
