Color Inspiration - Swirly Sunset

First of all I'd like to preface this article by saying I do NOT own Photoshop so this image was not altered! I know, hard to believe.

This color inspiration was used to create the jewelry-making pattern: Swirly Sunset Necklace
I have a condition called "Sunset-itis"; I cannot stop taking sunset pictures no matter where I visit or live. This favorite spot is on Grand Lake, Oklahoma. I frequently take my pups for walks on the lakeshore and see beautiful sunsets all the time. But this evening was spectacular! I waited until after the sun set and in seconds the sky turned this stunning pink, orange, purple color. It lasted only seconds and I feel so lucky I captured it!

Picking out the wire colors to match the color pallet was delightful which is why I chose 5! You could use more or less but I think the end result is a great splash of colors I would not normally choose to incorporate into a piece of jewelry.

I made the resin focal piece to match the color pallet image after selecting the wire colors. I had to include a little sail boat charm. You could eliminate a focal all together and just create a chain. Think of the color possibilities created simply from wire!
