Color Inspiration - Spring Dreams

This wire made spring knot and malachite drop bead earring is inspired by the artful quilt. Dark fuchsia purple enameled craft wire is twisted around a dowel several times, then cut. The green enameled craft wire is also made into a spring ring. Threading the two springs together, it becomes a "knot." I created 12 springs. Threading two springs together, like keys on a key ring, creates the "knot". I used an eye pin to weave through the middle of each knot to create the strand. The malachite drop bead is wire wrapped then looped onto a jump ring and attached to the strand. Make a loop on the top of the eye pin, and attach an ear wire. Now you have a new addition to put a little spring in your step !
