Color Inspiration - Silver Holiday Tree

Holiday decorating is sometimes more than handmade, or sentimental ornaments for the tree. Sometimes over-the-top is just what's needed!

This evergreen is placed in the hallway of a large office building. The joy was found in all the round silver balls weaving their way around the tree.

Orbs of sparkle, they created an airy silver ball of wire in my mind.

Finding a coil of 12-gauge soft round wire, I wrapped this orb-like ornament using my thumbs and hands to coax the wire to gently curve around itself.

A simple "S" hook using a contrasting color wire makes a simple, unique ornament.

You could take this simple design and add beads, or charms around and through it. Use many different colors of wire, or combine colors for variety. Happy Holidays !
