When I saw this masterpiece painting, Poppies by Jeff Stanford, I couldn't look away. The colors were compelling and it captured my attention for quite some time without really knowing why. That's one of the pleasures of "great" art, you don't have to understand it to enjoy it.
This artwork did exactly that for me and I knew I wanted to create a jewelry piece using those very colors.

A simple basic link was just the ticket for this necklace so the colorful crystal dangles would really pop and be the center focus. It's a fun necklace to create and you could easily make a matching bracelet. Try adding the dangles to the connector loop instead of the wire center for a totally different look.
