A colorful wall of lobster-trap buoys caught the eye of jewelry designer, Nancy Chase. She took the used sea theme and colors in her charm bracelet design.
A salty sea breeze met us as we opened the car doors. A friend recommended this Gulf-side eatery for dinner. When walking up to the entrance I was mesmerized by a large wall of lobster buoys. The bright pink, and navy colors, along with sun faded ambers, greens, and golds made a mosaic of color.

The chalky whites and creams on the buoys looked to the presence of pearls. Adding craft enamel wire, I wove each 26-gauge strand through and around the large hole pearls to make each charm unique - just as each buoy is marked with its unique stripe. A jumble of color, and a gold chunky chain, a light, lovely accessory for summer!
