Color Inspiration - Juniper Berries

Today's color inspiration comes from a morning walk in Trammel Fossil Park. Though the fossils were fascinating, and a great discovery, I was drawn to the bright blue juniper berries, and rich evergreens on the trail. They smelled so piney, and herbal.

The colors in the soft daylight played with my imagination.

I fashioned this wire cotter pin chain bracelet with glass beads to reflect the colors in the juniper bush.

Tree shaped green beads are threaded with 22-gauge wire to create the dangles.

Multi-colored blue beads reference the various shades in the berries. 20-gauge round rose gold wire makes up the chain. A handmade clasp finishes the delicate design.
