Who needs a glass slipper when you can pop out the pink and black like this beauty? One of my girl friends had the most spectacular wedding right around Valentine's Day and her color palette was pink and black. It was stunning and I fell in love with the trend and particularly her bouquet! It was so contemporary yet romantic at the same time. I knew one day I'd create a piece of jewelry based on this very bouquet and viola' my Fabulous Fairy Tales bracelet was born!
I made many caged wire beads for this bracelet (they are so fun and zen-like to make, it's hard to stop) and love how the hot pink Swarovski crystal beads peek out through the black wire. I added some light pink pearl dangles and further embellished fairy tale charms (from Tierra Cast) by gluing tiny Swarovski flatback crystals to both sides so when they flip over while you're wearing it, you still see that peek of pink! I then added each dangle to a chain (or you could make your own links) and you're off to the ball - glass slipper and all (in this case, silver slipper)!
