Color Inspiration - Boho Tassel

I started to think about other memorable stories that my grandparents shared with me. One of my favorites was of my grandma and grandpa's honeymoon in the 1960s, how they drove the spectacular Pacific Coast Highway that hugs the California coastline, with steep drop offs into the Pacific Ocean.

This image reminds me of my grandma's description of certain parts of that highway. I love the warm palette of ochre, orange, and browns. I used memory wire to create a bracelet with various wood, glass, and metal beads, then added two small tassel accents. Similar beads were used in the hoop earrings with matching tassels. I'll wear this simple boho set often and think of my sweet grandparents.
