My longtime friend, Denise Peck, took this shot of blooming tulips in Amsterdam on her recent trip there. I HAD to make a piece of jewelry inspired by these colors! So vibrant and lush.
I've always been a tulip fan and a trip to see the fields of them in Amsterdam is on my bucket list. Since they bloom for only a couple of weeks, it makes them that much more precious.

These Celtic knots are like potato chips, you'll want more than one! Using colored wire (I used four different colors in this project) is always delightful. You could also use copper wire and patina once you're finished but I love this springy colorful pallet.
This is a great project to use up your scrap wire since each knot uses only six inches of wire. Make your knots as large or small as you wish, it's such a versatile technique, it's sure to become one of your faves! You can make this as a wrap-around bracelet as well as a necklace.
