Flowers and foliage are the greatest forms of inspiration in my opinion. One of the best aspects about using mother nature as your muse her creative color pallets you would not normally think of. This can stretch our artistic aesthetic and I embrace that!
I rarely think of a flower color as black but this Hellebore captured my attention and looked so interesting and formal, I had to use it for a wire jewelry creation. Hellebore flowers come in white and pink colors but this one is a rare shade of deep purple which appears black to the human eye. It's commonly called the Christmas Rose and has medicinal properties used for cleansing the body and treating mental disorders.
