Project 1- Ladies Prong Ring

“Yes, I know there are already several videos available with a prong ring design, however they don’t all give easy ways to formulate the prong lengths to be able to accommodate almost any size or shape faceted stone.  Although my methods are not 100% foolproof, (especially if you jump right into this advanced project without gaining the experience needed to make good, tight wraps, shank wrap and size, etc. by working through at least lesson 1 and 3), I can confidently tell you that the formulas I teach work 98% of the time, and that includes setting some rather large, faceted stones.  Within this lesson, we will make a standard ladies ring, using what I consider a normal size and shape stone, but I also talk about how to reformulate the design for other stones.  (And there’s more to come on this too!)” Dale "Cougar" Armstrong
