Not all Sharpies are created equal! Discover why Dale “Cougar” Armstrong specifically uses “fine point” or “ultra fine point” markers in her jewelry making instructions. And if your designs come out just a little bit off time and time again, this might solve your problem!

    Good tip, thank you!! I know when making stained glass and cutting patterns out, that if you do not own pattern shears (they have a double edge on one side that cuts away the proper amount of paper) you can use the regular Sharpie and literally cut away that entire black line to allow for the space taken up by the copper foil. It might seem small, but that space is huge in the finished piece! It really makes me understand that this tip can be invaluable!

    That is a great analogy! I also do stained glass and fused dichroic glass. I have been using fine point markers for over 20 years. I buy them by the box, there is no other way to get a proper fit with many techniques otherwise.
