I have a tumbler I’ve just purchased, after I’ve wire-wrapped say
a pendant can I put the pendant into the the tumbler to shine it up?
Also if I made a pendant with either a semi-precious or precious stone incorporated in my piece can that go into the tumbler as well.
Thank You
Alex

Gold filled twists every bit as easy as sterling silver, but *remember*: twisting hardens the wire, so if you started out with half hard wire, you will have *very* hard wire when you finish twisting. Soft wire goes to about half hard after twisting, in my experience.

I’v bought jewelry at bizzars and often wondered how I can find the inexpensive non gold, non Sterling, hair fine wire they use to attach beads to earring hooks.
I love your hints and wire wrapping knowledge, I hope one day soon I’ll be able to order the things I need to get started with my winter jewelry making projects.
Thank you for any help you can give me on the wire queston.
Regards, Darlene

I shine my silver in my tumbler, but when I have wrapped a stone into it I put painters tape around the stone first, seems to protect the stone from cracking, only if it’s a good strong stone though hope this helps

Safeway used to carry a product called Noxon for cleaning silver, it just took a dipping. Is it still available?
