Today we feature a video by Kate Richbourgh in which she shows us how to use the Large Disc Cutter. This is a great tool if you love working with sheet metal and making your own discs.

Large Disc Cutter||DAP-410.10

Large Disc Cutter

Large cutter features five sizes ranging from 1/2″ to 1″. Cut perfect circles every time! The holes have been drilled, reamed and then honed to make the finest and cleanest cutter available. The punches are oil-quenched tool steel and drawn for hardness and durability. The bottom base is case-hardened and ground. Cuts metal up to 14 gauge. Measures 3″ x 2-3/4″. Weighs 2 lbs 12 oz.

    I am new to jewlery making and so have a million questions lol. I am trying to figure out the whole gage/thickness business. My question is if you stack 2 sheets of 28 gage metal will it be the same thickness as 14 gage. Same goes with 2-20 gage = 10 gage?
