This easy-to-use benchtop drill press is very small, but powerful enough to use for all of your drilling projects. With a platform measuring only 6-3/4″ x 6-3/4″, it is space-saving as well as economical. Variable speeds up to 8,500 RPM. 1-year warranty.

A few other useful items:

Quality made HSS twist drills made to exacting tolerances. Bright finished, with exactly the proper cutting angle at the tip. Flutes are sharp with the proper spiral and finished outer edges. The finest grade tool steel, tempered for maximum hardness and endurance. Assortment includes one tube, 10 pieces, each size 61-80 and a hardwood stand marked with the appropriate size.

You can use core drills to cut holes in ceramic, tile and glass without chipping or cracking. Our diamond-coated core drills have a 3mm (1/8″) shank, medium-fine grit and are made of stainless steel on which diamond particles have been electroplated. This set of 6 drills includes sizes 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 5.0 and 6.5mm.

    I THINK IT WOULD BE USEFUL TO MENTION USING A HOLE PUNCH TO MAKE A DIVET IN THE METAL, ESPECIALLY IF IT IS A HEAVY METAL

    Its a very useful post! This benchtop drill press seems to be very useful for small drilling projects, and the wood stand is also very important.
