So is it like glue and just needs to dry? Or do you have to heat it after you put it on and then do you put the second piece with it? At what point? Not sure how to use his product.

it is silver solder. in a paste form …you use it instead of wire solder or sheet solder. you use it the same way, fluxing the metals to be joined and then heating with a torch. if you do not know how to solder with a torch, then this is not for you.
