Question:
Can silver enameled copper wire be forged to an extent that would not destroy the enameling?
-Vivian in Goodlettsville, Tennessee
Answer:
The best way to forge enameled wire is to use a rubber or rawhide mallet. You will have to experiment to see how much you can work it, because each person will have to determine his or her own strength. Have fun!
