Daily Wire Tip Oct. 26: Suggested Jewelry Wire & Jewelry Terms
Daily Wire Jewelry Making Tip for
October 26, 2010
Question:
In the past, you ran an article on suggested jewelry wire and a glossary of wire jewelry terms. This info would be very helpful to me if you would run it again, as I would like to save it.
-Judy in Benson, Arizona
Answer:
Hi Judy, I had to search to find them as well, but here are the links: What Type of Wire Should I Use, Part 1 and Part 2.
You can click here to find the Glossary of Jewelry Terms, found in the Resource Center, under “All About Wire.”

I love your web site. How come you don’t carry wire gauge lower than 16 gauge? Some times I need a thicker gauge.

Hi Freddie, thanks! We try hard to be your number one choice for information, education and supplies!
I am not sure what gauge, temper and/or shape you are seeking, but Wire-Sculpture does carry larger gauges. You can either follow this link to shop by gauge http://www.wire-sculpture.com/shop-jewelry-wire-by-gauge-1.html
Or here for 10-gauge: http://www.wire-sculpture.com/10-gauge-jewelry-wire-1.html
Here for 12-gauge: http://www.wire-sculpture.com/12-gauge-jewelry-wire-1.html
and here for 14-gauge: http://www.wire-sculpture.com/14-gauge-jewelry-wire-1.html
