Marty Blu
Driven by her “Ethereal Muse,” Marty Blu is a lifelong artist who has only recently made wire her preferred medium. Her art training ranges from Seattle’s famed Cornish College of the Arts to many various workshops and classes that cover all aspects of artistic expression.
Marty is also an active participant in a local Artworks program, having shown and sold many pieces through community oriented events. The inspiration of her childhood home of Port Townsend, Washington often shows in her artwork; with brilliant aspects of the ocean shore and its unique and beautiful variety of sea life having a prominent tone.
After less than two years of working with wire, Marty was able to attend a workshop with Dale “Cougar” Armstrong (Summer, 2010). Here Marty would not only learn from the foremost authority on wire jewelry design, but was also able to share some of her more unique and whimsical works, such as her Sea Turtle and Swivel links.
Marty Blu has always lived in the Pacific Northwest, currently residing in Shoreline, Washington. This is truly an honor. I have learned so much about this art from Dale and all of the info available through W.S. I am truly excited to be able to share some of my own ideas and designs here too!
Thank you all.

I have seen many aspects of art created by Marty Blu. She really is an amazing artist. Anyone that wants to become more familiar with her techniques should check out her website, and definitely follow her training classes. The wire turtles are one of the cutest designs I have seen with wire. I love sealife and the design has so many options when choosing materials. I could work for weeks and never have to use the same wire/gemstone combination. A+ for Marty!

It’s great to see Marty’s work here as a Contributing Artist. I have watched Marty’s art metamorphose into her passion for wire and it’s wonderful to see it being shared!

Since the first time I saw the wire sculptured designs by “Marty Blu”, I was amazed at the array of jewelry offered by this amazing artist. She designs and produces one of a kind, authentic, wire art pieces. Nothing exactly the same as the other. She is a peaceful soul dedicated to her art. She is an awesome sculptore, painter and all around lover of the earth and nature, which is evident in her jewelry.
I was fortunate enough to find her amazing talent in her paintings and other various art forms. But her jewelry is unique, and all her pieces are done with such patience and love. Her artistic jewelry is for any affair. She has certainly outdone herself with her line of jewelry. We are so fortunate to have her here in our hometown of Shoreline, Wa, she should be selling to celebs, actors, rap artists and such. Thanks, Marty Blu
