Daily Wire Jewelry Making Tip

Question:
Dale, I do like the new blog. My only problem with it is the text size cannot be increased–or at least, I have not found out how to resize it. Can y’all tell me how? Thanks.
-Kathie in Sulphur Springs, Texas
Answer:
I am so pleased that our new blog design incorporates so much more information and that you like it too! Yes, you can enlarge the size of your page to make things easier to read.
If you are using Internet Explorer or Firefox, go to the top of the screen and click on View, then click on Zoom, then click on Zoom In.
If your Internet Explorer looks different, you may not have the current version; click here to download it.
In Safari, at the top of the screen, click on View, then click on Zoom In.
You can also control the size of the page by holding the CTRL key and pressing + to zoom in, or CTRL and - to zoom out (CMD on a Mac).

Kathie, I’m a big user of Ctrl and + & Ctrl and – for seeing my screen. Know two things:
1. Ctrl and 0 (zero) will take you immediately back to the default screen.
2. Within a tab, the change to the screen will often stay, so you can enlarge a tab for a site you are looking at that use small font all around and have another tab that is normal.
Some sites, particularly news site are set so that you have to redo it for every page of an article.
Hope this helps.

On the internet if you want the text to be larger you can simply hold down the control key (Ctrl) and use the scroll wheel on the mouse and it will increase the size of the page print or decrease it as you wish. I use the method for a quick look at things that are to small for me to see comfortably.

This site is truly amazing, not only do I get info on jewelry making, I get tech help that I wasn’t even aware of. Thanks, I’ll pass that tip on to my nearly blind girlfriend who can’t get her screen large enough to read the words sometimes. BeBe
