Very cool. I purchased some of this same wire thinking that I could use it as a bezel setting but I just wasn\’t able to make it work–not the right tools? not enough know-how?–Now I can use it to make these bails. Thank you so much!

The tips and videos have been a tremendous help. Although I’ve been an avid crafter for years I’m just getting started with wire sculpture. All the help online is fabulous! Thank You. I’m also looking for info on making chain maille jewelry. Thanks Again.

Hi Dale, I love all the instructions you continually make available. I have your book “Wirework” and accompanying DVD which I am currently watching. Question on this independent bail: How durable — can this bail be removed and used various jewelry pieces?
Thank you so much.

Hi Beverly, since this is just one piece of wire, I would only use it on the piece it’s intended for. However, you can experiment with making types of hooks out of heavy-gauge or harder wire that would be interchangeable. There is a pattern for an interchangeable bail made from wire in the book Mixed Media Jewelry Techniques that you might like!
