Every year, we take two weeks and we leave the cold and snowy weather or Utah,  along with our sister sister company JewerlyTools.com, to join our friends in Tucson for the JOGS International Gem & Jewelry Show. This year we will be offering over 100 classes to wonderful people from all over the world.

I wanted to take a few weeks and give you an overview of JOGS, introduce you to our instructors and highlight some of the classes they will be teaching as well as help you discover a few other exciting things you can do while in Tucson!

But first – let’s Discover JOGS!

What is JOGS?

JOGS Gem and Jewelry Show is one of the most famous shows in Tucson. With over 4,000 vendors each year, you won’t believe all the jewelry and raw materials you’ll see!

When is it?

The 12 Day Gem & Jewelry show runs January 26 – February 6th 2017 in Tucson, Arizona.

Why should you go?

JOGS Tucson Show is a top destination for gem and jewelry professionals from around the world. Held at the Tucson Expo Center the JOGS Gem & Jewelry Show offers exceptional services, facilities, and the most complete product range found under one roof.

If you are looking to expand your skills as a jewelry artist – this is the place to be.  Plus – there are also a lot of other fun and interesting things you can do in Tucson while you are there.

For example:  Why not eat your way around Tucson? Everyone has to eat, right?

Take a Food Tour.  It’s a great way to get a sense of the flair of town, take a few friends along that you’ve met while taking a class, and enjoy a new experience!

Here’s what you’d get:

“On the tour, you will sample food from at least 6 local restaurants. Guides will point out architectural highlights, cultural sites, and great local shops along the way. Visiting tourists & locals agree that our tours are an exciting way to learn about this trendy and vibrant downtown area.”

Why take classes at JOGS?

The most interesting Jewelry Classes are at the JOGS Gem show this February…

JewelryTools.com will be holding our classes in our 2,000 square foot ballroom, with over 100 jewelry classes this year. Make sure to plan for plenty of time at the show before and after class, because you’ll want to explore the whole show – including the wide range of jewelry tools and videos at the JewelryTools.com booth!

The JOGS Show is a wholesale-only show, but just tell them at Registration that you’re here to take a jewelry class, and they’ll give you your special badge! This badge gives you the ability to wander the show before and after your class and maybe you’ll pick up something fantastic!
