Keeping Wire Tangle Free
by Sarah Thompson
Today’s tip comes to us from our good friend, Sarah Thompson. If you are interested in Wire Weaving, don’t hesitate to take a look at all of the other tips that Sarah has shared with us on our blog.
Sarah Says:
I like to tumble my jewelry, so as a precaution I add all my gems and beads into my design after tumbling. This means I need lots of pre oxidized wires in different gauges and hardness ready to go.
To keep these pre oxidized wires organized and tangle free I use Kumihimo bobbins.
They are great as I can write the gauge and hardness on the bobbins and they snap together making for tidy storage when they are not being used.
Tools to Use:
Lortone 3A Single Barrel Tumbler
I hope this quick tip helps you keep your wire organized and tangle free.
Happy Wrapping!
