Wire Wrapped Angel Ornaments
I’m always looking for fun and interesting new ideas and we always have a lot of very creative ones that are shared with us from our readers. Today I’d like to show you a very cute and unique idea sent to us by Tonie Marlow. She writes: ”
Living on the Pacific ocean, I’ve been a “Beach-glass addict” all my life and for the last 10 years, I’ve made a jewelry line of hand wrapped beach glass. No Glue!
I find that if you are careful and have selected the right shape of glass, making gravity work for you and also wrapping tightly, (along with some selective turns of the wrist with chain nose pliers) glue is superfluous. I love this technique!
Then it hit me… Beach glass and wire wrapped ANGELS!! So, I sat down on my couch and made 10 in 2 hours. I’ve already given half of them to friends – as it’s nice to get a new ornament (I always give handmade ornaments) each year, a bit early – so you can enjoy then on that year’s tree!
Antoinette also shared with us that she purchased our Ultimate Wire Bundle this summer and has been using it to create these adorable angels! Take a look at a few of the adorable angels ornaments that she has created and shared with us!
I am always excited when our readers share their creations with me! Have you created something new? Send me a note explaining what you’ve created, what materials you’ve used and a few great pictures – and you too could be featured on our blog!
Happy Wrapping!

Where can we find ocean or sea glass? I am from Wyoming and have no ocean close at hand.
