Tip Guide to Tucson!
Today’s tip is from Joanie Whitehead
Texturing metal with everyday objects.
You can use many common household items to texture metal.
Simply tape the item to the front of the metal; turn it over and hammer on the back so you can see the item forming.
To help you get started, take a look at our Metalworking 101 DVD series.

My hot tip for the 12th day of the Tucson gem show, visit the 22nd street show and meet the stars of the Prospectors! Amanda and Travis in the flesh along with loads of the gems that they dug on display. The Busse Family, real nice people. Conrad and his partner. I got the Busse family’s autographed picture and some insight into the future of the show. This was an unexpected treat for me as I’m a huge fan. I blew my budget big time, as usual, but so what else is new. It’s so easy to do that with so much available here at really good prices. This only happens once a year and I stock up as much as I can. Everyone should come here at least once to experience this event you’ll be glad you did. BeBeaz
