Question:
What is the best way to remove glue residue left from the gilter’s tape?
Answer:
The easiest way to remove the excess residue from any tape is with a cotton swab dipped in denatured alcohol. It will also remove any left over marks from your markers.

Since I hate the smell of denatured alcohol, I have been using one of man’s three best friends: His dog, duct tape and WD-40. I just made that up, but you can use it. Anyway, I spray a little WD-40 on a paper towel and it takes care of anything on the metal. And, I love the smell.

Hi Dale, would you please explain what denatured alcohol is. Some people don’t know what that is. I know by working painting houses for a while. Thank you for your time on this matter. Sincerely Judy Gee
