This week’s featured tools from JewelryTools.com are Bench Blocks.
DescriptionBench blocks are every jewelry artist’s helper. These blocks are incredibly sturdy and durable to allow you to hammer with ease. The rubber of the blocks is very durable and reduces excess noise and vibration on your bench or table. We carry a bench filing block that securely fastens onto the edge of your bench with a cast iron clamp. Our hockey puck block is terrific for removing pins and other such work. It’s practically indestructible and can be used for light hammering. #HOL-180.00 |

Wow! Thanks for the video, extremely helpful, so you don’t have too many bench blocks. Liked it.

I find an old section of used railroad track, finished to a high shine with a belt sander in various grits from course to fine, and polished, to be a most effective bench block…and the surface is superbly work hardened due to the amount of mileage put on it by trains.
