Color Inspiration - Bow Wow Garden

I've got to admit, this was one of the most interesting color palettes I've ever designed with! When I saw this image on Facebook, I knew it would be a fun challenge to use as inspiration for jewelry.
I created the color palette and had serious doubts - will this look good or what? The puppy is darling but will the palette transfer into a great colors for beads, I'm not so sure!
I forged ahead anyway.

I started the first earring and it took about 5 scallops to determine that it not only looked good, but I loved it! That's one of the most fun aspects of designing, the surprise factor! Then, it quickly turns to trusting in the process and follow through.

One important design lesson I've learned many times is if you love the colors in an image and use them when selecting components for your project, the end result always rocks! In a good way. That was the case here.

This project is so quick, easy and satisfying. Perfect for a last minute gift or new outfit, these are quite fun to make!
